I Always Eat A Healthy Diet…Why Do I Need To Use Supplements
Remember the early days of the computers? We were taught
GIGO - Garbage In, Garbage Out. It related not only to computers, but we used that phrase in connection to many other things, amongst them food. Basically it meant if we put good things in we knew we could get good results back. Times have changed, but the rule still applies. Good food in, results good "things" back. Good results mean a healthy, energetic body, with no
disease, no illness, and no degeneration of our body systems. Ever wonder why a cut apple turns brown? That's degeneration...that's "oxidation". It's having your car rust when you drive in unfriendly elements such as snow or ice on the road and the maintenance crews use salt to melt it.
We confidently eat the rosy apples, the dark green, leafy vegetables, the unblemished peaches. We have become used to eating "beautiful things". Our lives are very busy, so things that are quick and easy to prepare, and tasty, are our first choices. Presentation is very important we don't want to eat things that don't look nice. And then there's the price…we don't want pay a lot for food. We have learned to reduce our intake of red meat (it's still the best source of iron) and we eat more chicken and fish. But now our foods have to be "oven ready" or "instant".
So to give you what you want, the food industry has responded. But in order to please you and have you buy their products, they have had to use fertilizers, pesticides, time release fertilizers, lots of salt, preservatives, plus many other ways to keep things looking appealing. So these chemicals go into your bodies…and what comes back? How does all this affect your body? Your body considers these "free radicals" and they contribute to oxidation. Could you be "rusting" on the inside?
Back to my original point…do you need a supplement to replenish the necessary the nutrients in these times of high-yield food production and low yield nutrition? YES or NO. You answer the question.
