Cancer… You Can Beat it or It Can Beat
You
The choice is yours.
I know of many people who have conquered cancer. In most
instances, the survival rate for cancer is very
positive. Our research has gone far into discovering
that the environment plays an enormous part in both
developing it and preventing it.
You still should seek medical intervention with your
doctor. You should still go through all the conventional
testing and treatments. You need to recognise and
acknowledge the different warning signals that are
causing you problems through the symptoms.
If you sit back and do nothing, chances are the tumour
will enlarge and cause even more problems.
However if you decide to take control: i.e. visit the
doctor or the clinic and have some tests when the
problem is small, chances are excellent that you can
reverse the results.
BUT your part now becomes the LEADING role.
You can do two things immediately without any medical
intervention (doctor or clinic input).
1) You can examine and adjust your "physical" food
intake and
2) You can examine your mental attitude: your "mental"
food intake'.
Pretend I am your doctor and I have just told you that
you have stomach cancer...that you can have surgery and
the recovery possibilities are excellent.
Your choices, once you get over the shock, are
A) to make a decision to have the surgery and PLAN
activities for immediate follow up , PLUS job
adjustment, at home support, and a return to work date.
You also KNOW you will be well for the family gathering.
Now things don't seem so scary.
OR
B) You could decide that your life is over…finished. You
will still have the surgery, but now you dwell on all
the horror stories you have heard from well-meaning
friends. You decide it's not worth fighting…"Things
never go your way anyway"…"Why does this always have to
happen to me?" "Why do I have all this bad luck?"… you
know the routine.
Also you do little post operative planning because
"what's the use…you're going to die soon anyway". With
this attitude, you are telling your body not to fight.
You create a very gloomy, hopeless mental environment.
Now I would like you to stop for a minute and decide
which scene makes you FEEL better. Which is making you
feel uncomfortable? Which one do you want to run away
from?
Do you relate to the first example…which causes
inconvenience, but is doable, or the second one which
gives you a feeling of complete and utter hopelessness?
Please recognize that I have only WRITTEN some words
here and they CREATE the feelings. You haven't DONE
anything at all yet! I'm going to come to my point with
another example and it's one I'm sure you have already
done.
I am asking you to go to the fridge, get out a lemon,
take it to the counter, cut it into five even pieces,
and arrange these on a small saucer.
Is your mouth watering a bit? Is your mouth producing
extra saliva?
I want to demonstrate the POWER of words…Depression
makes you think darkness, gloom, but if I suggest hope,
you would perk up and think…what can I do…what if…
Your body interprets this as a relaxed, hopeful
"posture, or a defeated, hopeless attitude. It then
"translates" that into inner activities. You didn't have
to speak a word: you just read my words.
So I suggest that if you do a get a diagnosis of cancer,
or gallstones, or diabetes, you add one additional step
to your treatment regime. And that step is to MAKE a
decision as to what will be your mental attitude.
And once you make that decision, announce to everyone
that you are now part of your "treatment team"…along
with doctor, and medical support. And PLAN for the
positive outcome.
Yes, there will be some unpleasant times as you go
through this experience. However, your choice determines
the outcome. Negative thoughts drag your down and
backward ...positive thoughts will propel you forward.
So your personal plan should be to choose positive,
supportive thoughts, avoid negative people, and fill
your tummy with optimum nutrition…and that should really
include nutritional supplementation.
This is not holistic, alternative medicine. This is
common sense. It makes excellent use of your
(under-utilized) mind, and a tremendous way to give hope
to many others who haven't your courage.
Yes cancer can be beaten. We have many cases that
demonstrate that even the worst prognosis can be
overcome. And this is how you start. Doctors would love
you to have a positive hopeful attitude…they hate it
when their patients give up and don't fight to get
better.
They LOOK good and you will BE better!
